Who we are?
We are Alis Biosciences Limited, a closed ended investment scheme incorporated and registered in Guernsey with limited liability under the Companies (Guernsey) Law, 2008 (registered number: 71713) of Les Echelons Court, St. Peter Port, Guernsey GY1 4AN. We, or any third-party service provider, functionary or agent appointed by us and acting on our behalf are referred to under this policy as “Alis”, “we”, “us” and “our”.
This policy sets out how we process your personal data which is either provided by you directly or is collected via our website. In the event we process your personal data under any other circumstances we will ensure that a privacy policy is provided to you prior to processing your personal data.

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
Where is your personal data stored?
Your personal data is stored in Guernsey and/or the United Kingdom and where we transfer your personal data outside of Guernsey, the UK/EEA we will ensure that it receives additional protection as set out under data protection laws.
EU data subjects: Personal data may be transferred to, and stored at, destinations outside the European Economic Area (“EEA“) and the Bailiwick of Guernsey (“Guernsey“). Some of these destinations may not have data protection laws that are similar to those in the EEA and Guernsey and may not be regarded by the European Commission or Guernsey’s Data Protection Authority (as applicable) as providing an adequate level of data protection. When we, or our permitted third parties, transfer personal information outside the EEA or Guernsey, we will ensure that the transfer is subject to appropriate safeguards in accordance with Data Protection Legislation.
UK data subjects: Personal data may be transferred to, and stored at, destinations outside the United Kingdom and Guernsey. Some of these destinations may not have data protection laws that are similar to those in the United Kingdom and Guernsey and may not be regarded by the UK Government or Guernsey’s Data Protection Authority (as applicable) as providing an adequate level of data protection. When we, or our permitted third parties, transfer personal information outside the United Kingdom or Guernsey, we will ensure that the transfer is subject to appropriate safeguards in accordance with Data Protection Legislation.
How long do we hold onto your data for?
We will only hold onto your personal data for as long as we need it and in connection with the purpose we initially collected it for unless we must hold onto it for longer to comply with our legal, accounting or regulatory requirements.
In certain circumstances we may anonymise the personal data we hold about you so that you can no longer be identified. This information may then be used indefinitely.
What rights do you have?
Under data protection laws you have a number of rights available including the right to:
- access your personal data;
- correct incomplete/ inaccurate data;
- erase the personal data we hold about you;
- restrict how we handle your personal data;
- ask us to transfer your personal data to a third party;
- object to how we process your personal data; and
- withdraw your consent at any time.
You also have the right to complain to us and/or the applicable supervisory authority including the Guernsey Data Protection Authority whose address is St Martin’s House, Le Bordage, St Peter Port, Guernsey GY1 1BR and for England and Wales the Information Commissioner’s Office (“ICO“).
